This training is a requirement to meet FAA regulations and also an opportunity to update your knowledge and skills regarding the latest regulations and procedures. Our instruction is designed to fit your typical utilization of the aircraft and update your knowledge and skills in areas that are most challenging or interesting to you.
The Pre-Course Preparation Phase
Before you join us at Jet Safety International, we provide a comprehensive manual covering aircraft systems, performance, and weight & balance for you to study ahead of time.
This prep sets the stage for success, giving you a solid foundation to build on once the course begins. It’s a flexible timeline you can tackle at your own pace, ensuring you arrive ready to dive into the hands-on training and learning that we provide.
Ground School: Day One
Your training at Jet Safety International begins with ground school. Ground school is by PowerPoint presentation and normally lasts one day. and covers Limitations, Aircraft Systems, and Performance. Our instructors bring real-world experience to the process and include High-altitude Operations, Crew Resource Management, Threat and Error Management, and any points of emphasis requested by the customer.
It’s intensive but thorough and engaging. Upon completion, you’ll have a deep grasp of the required ground knowledge preparing you for the practical training and testing in the aircraft.
Hands-On Cockpit Procedures Training
After ground school, Jet Safety International provides cockpit procedures training. The actual aircraft is connected to ground power, allowing practice with normal, abnormal, and emergency checklists, switches, and avionics.
Flight Training and Proficiency Check
Next up at Jet Safety International is the flight training and checking phase.. This is where you’ll hone your skills in the aircraft, practicing maneuvers and procedures in accordance with the Airline Transport Pilot and Type Rating Airman Certification Standards.
Wrapping Up with Confidence
When you finish your citation recurrent training with Jet Safety International, you’ll walk away not just with renewed confidence but also with a boost in confidence and skill. Your Instructor / FAA Examiner will provide the required log book sign-off off and Jet Safety International will provide a certificate of training completion in accordance with 14CFR Part 61.58.
